I am from Sharon Hill Pennsylvania. I am one of 4 children. We are a very close family. I reside in San Fernando, California. I thank my parents for giving me a firm spiritual foundation, my grand parents for my entrepreneurial spirit and my desire to help others.Finally, Nelson Blackwell who inspired my love for travel.I considered myself to be pretty healthy. So on October 8th 2008 when I suffered a massive stroke I was shocked.The only thing that I could do was to put my faith and trust in God and work hard to get better. After 9 months of therapy,and confessing the scriptures on healing daily I made a miraculous recovery. 8 years later From stroke to recover  My Walk With God was published. I wrote the book to tell my story and to provide resources and information that would help others.If you have read my book I would love  to get your feed back.If you have not read it yet I hope you will. It is a quick  and enjoyable read.My foundation scripture became second timothy 1-7 God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and a sound mind. Yes I was afraid  at first but I did not give into it. I trusted God.I realized that a successful recovery started with me. I had the desire, will and courage to get better. My attitude was always of gratefulness. I was motivated to do what I was told to do. I had to except my new life always remembering how blessed I was to be alive. Finally , I could not do it alone I believed God knowing that he is always there.
