My plan is to blog monthly. I hope that you will follow me on this journey of discovery on the assignment that I was given by God the topic of stroke.After my stroke I had a seizure on October 8th 2009 and it would take 2 years to get my life back.At the end of it all God gave me a new career and a subject that I have become very passionate about.If you know God the way that I do, you know that he is a God of purpose.He did not bring me through just to tell my story,but to shade light on a subject that I think does not get enough attention.I think that I am suppose to open up the conversation about the subject so that we can learn from each other experiences and become aware of other symptoms that are different than what I wrote about in my book. Hosea 4,6 states My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.I feel that the more information that we have the better prepared we will be in knowing what to look for.

strokes kill about 140,000 Americans each year. Someone in the United States has a stroke every 40 seconds. Every 4 minutes someone dies from a stroke.Every year 795,000 people in the US have a stroke and out of that 610,000 are first or new strokes. Just something to think about. Until next time.
